SHE: A Celebration of Women in Music
This dance promotion visual was created for the SHE event, an empowering tribute honoring women in the music industry. Through bold choreography and cinematic visuals, the piece pays homage to feminine strength, creativity, and influence across generations of sound. Designed to capture the spirit of the event, the visual is both a celebration and a call to recognize the trailblazing women who continue to shape the culture—onstage and behind the scenes.

Baddie Tingz was a bold, high-energy dance performance created and performed by Anissa Knight and Wanda Walker for the Taste of Charlotte Festival. Co-choreographed by the duo, the piece celebrated confidence, power, and feminine fire—blending street-style grooves with sharp technique and undeniable stage presence. As both dancers and choreographers, Anissa and Wanda brought their unique styles together to deliver a dynamic crowd-pleaser that lit up the stage and turned heads with every beat. Baddie Tingz was more than a performance—it was a movement.

Whatchu Know About Me is a bold and unapologetic dance visual set to the high-energy anthem by GloRilla and Sexyy Red, produced by JDID Productions. Co-directed, co-choreographed, and edited in collaboration with Jiyante Francis, the piece celebrates fierce femininity, street-smart attitude, and unapologetic expression. Featuring Charlotte’s premiere dance team, The Love Dolls, this visual commands attention through movement, music, and message—spotlighting confidence, creative power, and the fire of collaboration.

Lost & Found is a dynamic and emotionally charged dance visual directed by Jiyante Francis, exploring the many ways we lose and rediscover ourselves through movement. Featuring a powerful lineup of performers, the piece blends multiple dance styles—including heels, hip hop, tap, contemporary, tango, lyrical, and step—to tell a story of identity, struggle, and transformation. I had the honor of being featured in the heels and hip hop sections, bringing both fire and fluidity to this rich, multi-genre performance.

Project Full Out (PFO) is an annual nonprofit dance showcase founded by Ana Ogbueze that spotlights Charlotte’s vibrant dance community through powerful, purpose-driven performances. For the 2024 show, I had the honor of serving as Assistant Choreographer to Brenay Myers and performing as a dancer with The It Girlz. We brought bold, feminine energy to the stage—blending precision, attitude, and artistry to embody the spirit of PFO: going full out in passion, purpose, and performance.

VIBES INN DIS, choreographed by Wanda Walker, was a vibrant and unapologetic piece featured in the Loose Leaves Legacy 10th Anniversary Dance Showcase. Rooted in dancehall and Afrobeat styles, the choreography blended raw movement, rhythm, and cultural influence to create a high-energy celebration of identity, resilience, and collective joy. I had the honor of performing as a dancer, bringing bold energy and full-bodied expression to a piece that radiated confidence, connection, and undeniable vibes.

Paati Sun is a captivating piece choreographed by Ze and performed at the Loose Leaves Dance Showcase, blending soulful movement with raw emotion and storytelling. Set to music that honors love, legacy, and loss, the choreography weaves together personal reflection and communal rhythm. With its powerful blend of contemporary and Afro-diasporic styles, Paati Sun is a moving tribute that lingers long after the final beat.

I was casted as one of the lead dancers in the NC Dance District’s first-ever commercial, shining the spotlight on this vibrant Charlotte hip-hop dance studio. The piece captures the studio's high-energy environment and community-driven spirit. It’s a celebration of dance, inclusivity, and the passion that fuels every class at NCDD.
